We’ve made it easier to conduct court business from home. Complimentary bottled water will be provided. Please plan accordingly as time may be limited depending on the court proceedings. They will have access to a refrigerator and/or a microwave. Jurors are encouraged to bring snacks, lunch, and/or refreshments (coffee, juice, sodas) with them that they may want or need during their time at the courthouse. Jurors are permitted to bring in food or drink as long as it is not in a glass container. Jurors MAY bring cell phones, computers, and tablets however, Jurors may NOT use those devices to take photos or record while in the Courthouse. If instructed to report in-person, jurors may NOT bring the following into the Bernalillo County Metropolitan Courthouse: electronics (except as allowed below), cameras, glass containers, or weapons of any kind including, but not limited to, guns, knives, pepper spray, metal nail files, razor blades, or metal eating utensils.
If jurors need to provide the court with an email address/text number, or did not receive the court’s communication in this timeframe, or have any other questions, please call 50. In the event that a panel of jurors is selected and instructed to report to the courthouse, the report time will be no later than 8:45 a.m.Ī week before the jury term, jurors will receive an e-notification from the Jury Division providing current juror reporting information. Jurors should have the sequence number that is listed on the summons when calling in. Jurors are to call our Jury Message Phone Line at 50 each afternoon Sunday through Thursday (Days may vary during Holiday weeks, refer to “Current Juror Reporting Instructions” for further details), any time after 3:30 p.m.
